Rachna Vohra is poet and writer living in Montreal, Canada. Her published works include The Distance Within, a book of poetry, and The Acorn and the Caterpillar, a fable about understanding and coping with death. Her poetry has been featured in an anthology entitled Beyond Memories, and she has written for a variety of magazines and e-zines. In addition to writing fables and short stories for children and adults, she has begun exploring her South Asian heritage, as well as experiences of the feminine through her work.

- salad king (yonge & gould). inexpensive, crowded, very good downstairs isn't open late. spicy means SPICY
 
- spring rolls (Front street) - their specials are well priced
 
morroccan - sultan's tent (Front street) - they have a belly dancing show, a bit touristy but nice food and the ambiance in the front is nice
 
pub - the irish embassy (Colborne street)

There are a two nice restos on Colborne street, italian and thai.
 
Coffee - excellent cafe on Wellington
 
or shop at the wonderful St Lawrence market (open every day except sunday-monday) or the at-least-its-open 24 hour dominion.
