Asma Khan is an artist from Pakistan. Having way fared through several cultures in the past thirteen years, she has finally come to settle in Montreal. Asma seeks inspiration from and delights in anything vaguely disturbing to her system. Her current pen and ink series aims to both probe and celebrate the erratic anatomy of fluctuating hormones.

Her background  in anthropology and environment has cultivated an interest in capturing the spirit of a people, their culture, and  their environment.  Kiran has explored, among others, the lives of Tibetan monks in exile, the survivors of child trafficking in India, the workers of Asia's largest slum Dharavi, the tea pickers in South India, and the indigenous women of Nepal.  She has collaborated on several humanitarian projects with NGOs in Canada, India, and Nepal.
